These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LocalBizInsider website and services (the "Service"), operated by LocalBizInsider ("we," "us," or "our"). The "Last updated" date shown on this page reflects when these Terms were most recently revised. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

LocalBizInsider researches and publishes information about local businesses, including directories, guides, "best of" features, and individual business profiles, compiled from publicly available sources and established third-party review platforms. The Service is provided for general informational purposes.

Business Information and Accuracy

Business profiles are compiled from public and third-party data and customer reviews and may not always be complete, current, or error-free. Inclusion of a business does not constitute an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of that business, and a business's appearance or ranking is based on reputation research, not payment. You should independently verify any information before relying on it. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any dealings between you and any business listed on the Service.

Business Owner Requests

If you are an authorized representative of a featured business, you may request corrections, updates, or removal of your business profile by contacting hello@localbizinsider.com. We review verified requests and act on them in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its text, design, organization, and original content, is owned by LocalBizInsider or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Business names, marks, reviews, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of the Service without our prior written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not: accessing the Service by automated means except as permitted by our published instructions; scraping, harvesting, or bulk-collecting content; interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure; attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems; misrepresenting your identity or authority; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to third-party websites and relies on third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalBizInsider and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LocalBizInsider and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LocalBizInsider's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law.
